Dart Sail Away

A ‘Swallows and Amazons’ Topper fun cruise on the River Dart.

Topper sailors of all ages and experience welcome

Cruise up the Dart to Duncannon for a BBQ and games, visiting the house of the Topper's designer to see the original designs. 

Parents/Guardians are welcome to join the cruise - either on the water (spaces available on our safety boats), or meeting on land at Duncannon for the BBQ/games.

Only Topper sailors need to book entries. Parents/Guardians that would like to join the event, must email [email protected]. 

Parents/Guardians may make a donation on the day to join the BBQ.

There may be Toppers available to borrow - please email [email protected] to book.

Estimated schedule for the day

(all timings dependant on wind/tide)

09:30: rigging at Dittisham Sailing Club.

10:00: briefing. 

10:30: launch.

12:15-12:30: arrive Duncannon.

14:00-14:30: leave Duncannon.

16:00: arrive Dittisham Sailing Club.
