L&SE Open Training at Whitstable Yacht Club
Whitstable Yacht Club welcomes you to join us for ITCA race coaching. This will be a full day of training delivered by very experienced race coaches. Led by Charlotte Bonella with Arabella Sabberton and Charlie Barker. The coaching is open to all and will support both experienced racers and those relatively new to racing. Max number of entries will be 24 so get your entries in early!
The club has changing facilities and hot showers. There is a café on site and a bar in the club for those over 18. Whitstable is a popular seaside town with a multitude of shops, bars, pubs, and restaurants to make your whole stay one to remember.
Timings for the day
- Be rigged and ready to go at 9.30
How to get here
Most visitors should follow the brown signs for the harbour from the A299.
Sat nav location
When using sat nav to reach the club do not use the postal address as the destination. The road that the club is on, the Sea Wall, is small lane leading to a deadend with no suitable access to the beach.
Use Whitstable Harbour on Harbour Street as the destination as this provides access to the beach for dropping off boats. The club is 30 metres from the Harbour entrance, or download these directions.
Trailer parking will be on West Quay. Marshalls will direct on the day.
Car parking
The closest car park is Gorrell Tank, 200 metres east of the harbour.

Please note that all children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian, who must remain on site for the duration of the session.
Please complete and return a parental consent form for all participants under 18 or bring with you on the day. This will be emailed to you following entry.
The training will cost £35 for the day.
